Canon 5D mark III Review

   Born out of pure ingenuity and years of refining its line of EOS camera, the canon 5d mark iii is something to be beheld by professional and amateurs photographers or videographers.With features superceeding its predecessor the canon 5d mark ii,this new member of  canon's line of EOS cameras is worth just reading about.In canon's highly insightful review of this camera on amazon, it referred to the 5d mark 3 as the power to create.World renowed photographer, Jeff ascough, who is one of the first few men to have experienced the power of this camera said at the end of his review, this camera is what every canon user has been waiting for and then some.

Looking at the the canon 5D mark iii from the outside it looks exactly like the canon 5D mark ii but with a  firmer grip  much like the canon 1X.

So are their any downsides to this camera. if their are downsides, it will be your own short comings as a photographer.

Canon rebel t3 vs t3i

The canon rebel t3i and t3 were released at almost the same period.The similarity in their names naturally sparks curiosity as to the difference between them. The difference between the canon rebel t3 and the t3i is much more than an itty-bitty 'i'. canon T2i(550D) vs T3i(600D)-is it worth the extra cost

With the release of the canon rebel T3i began the battle, canon t3i vs t2i, for the heart of every SLR lover out there.With the addition of new features such as the vari angled LCD screen, enhanced video capability,remote flash controls,many people are wondering if the extra buck for the t3i is actually worth it. although the t3i is worth every penny the decision to spend the extra to get it should depend on your needs. For most people who will be doing a lot of still photography the t2i will do as the sensor, processor speed are pretty much the same in both cameras while for those who will be shooting a lot of videos the t3i comes with better video capabilities than the t2i.
Lets take a comparative look at the features for both cameras to help you make a decision as to which of the camera suits you best.

canon T2i vs. T3i.

Size and Feel- At a glance the t3i and t2i look the same but they defer in all dimensions. The left side of the canon t3i was padded to increase the grip as the many owners of the t2i complain the camera sometimes slipping.
Lens- the canon t3i kit lens comes with a 18-55mm or the 18-135mm lens. the t2i comes with the 18-55mm lens but not the 18-135mm lens. there are about 162 lenses you can buy to use with the t2i and t3i.
Sensor and Image processor- Both cameras make use of the same 18mp CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4 image processor. with the same sensor and image processor the image quality of both cameras should generally be the same.

Although both cameras come with 3 inch LCD monitor, the  swiveling LCD behind the t3i makes shooting videos or pictures from awkward position easy.

camera(canon 1000D) lost at sea for over a year is returned to the owner through social media.

The name of the good Samaritan who found the canon 1000D digital camera at the bottom of the pacific ocean is Markus Thompson.Markus Thompson is a naturalist and aspiring photographer. He said that he found the camera while he was scuba diving in deep bay near British Colombia.Taking the camera home with him, he was able to salvage the sanDisk extreme III SD card inside the water logged canon 1000D.In the SD he found 50 photos of a firefighter and his family.
He decided to look for the owner of the camera.He posted pictures of the camera itself and the ones found in the SD on google+.The pictures found in the SD indicated a firefighter, wife and daughter on vacation.
"Approximately 50 pictures on the card from a family vacation. If you know a fire fighter from British Columbia whose team won the Pacific Regional Firefit competition, has a lovely wife and (now) 2 year old daughter — let me know. I would love to get them their vacation photos," he posted.
The social network detectives started scouring through the pictures found in the canon 1000D digital camera and comparing faces to those found on websites that covered the event.After much work, the owner was found.
The owner, a firefighter from British Columbia said that the shooter now turned relic was lost in august 2010.
That brings to an end the epic journey of a certain canon 1000D digital camera .Quite an intriguing story but there are two things we must notice here,although the camera is waterlogged and no longer functional but the camera was strong enough to keep the SD safe and the SanDisk extreme III SD was strong enough to keep the photos safe and survive a year in ever  turbulent pacific ocean.

Canon EOS rebel T3i digital camera review

The canon EOS rebel T3i digital camera offers a range of new and exciting features for the professional and amateur photographer. The video and picture quality is one of the best l have seen in any DSLR camera. The  inclusion of a vari-angle screen make the process of taking pictures or  recording a video in a crowd easier. This side hinged vari angle LCD screen can be flipped out and rotated so that you can view the screen from different directions other than just directly behind the screen. this can be helpful when the camera is mounted on a tripod stand or held over a crowd. The canon EOS rebel T3i uses a 18 megapixel CMOS sensor and an ISO of 6400.The canon T2i uses the same sensor but different ISO which means the picture and video quality remains the same.
     The inclusion of a 'basic' setting  mode in the rebel T3i,  which functions like an intelligent automatic mode that optimizes all variables for the perfect picture depending on the background.This means that when in auto mode the rebel T3i will automatically analyze the environment and determine the type of environment you are shooting-portrait, landscape e.t.c.and configure the camera settings to fit the type of environment.The rebel T3i shoot at 3.6fps in burst mode. which is quite slow from my point of view considering the fact that high speed shooting are as quick as ever.the ability of the canon EOS rebel T3i to remotely control off camera flash is another major feature.the rebel t3i uses the built in flash to trigger these off camera flash. this feature takes it another step closer to the canon 60D which is more expensive. when you first see the rebel T3i looks a lot like the canon 60D especially when you have the 18-135mm lens mounted.

The canon EOS rebel T3i also comes with the full HD movie capabilities and audio. there is also a audio input for external mics to be connected for better sound quality. other features include full manual controls, an SDXC card slot,video snapshot mode-which records short movie clips of 5,6,8 seconds and automatically joins them into a movie.
one of the cons of the rebel T3i is that it is has a slow frame rate for shooting sports and might sometimes over expose in bright sunlight.
Even with these few cons the canon EOS rebel T3i is perfect choice for anyone, amateur or professional.
